The Sims 2 is an awesome game, however I have to get one of the expansion packs back from my ex-friend before he turned into a jackass, now how to get it. . .

Either:

A) Slap him tell he gives it back

B) Get the mob on him

C) Run him over

D) Call Me

My xbox360 froze!

i am making this thread to see how many people have this problem with a xbox360:i got an xbox360 on christmas eve and it played perfect,but then the next day i tried my new games on it but it froze on the games.i thought it was the games but then i just turn the 360 on and it froze at the logo

how many of u have the same problem?(if you have one),and
if you have any suggestions on what to do please tell me.

That's not too good!!! Sorry to hear that. My nephew has a new one that he got for Christmas. No problems yet. I will check on that later with him & let you know if he has any problems. Best wishes with it all.

Looking for some assistance...

Um, I'm not entirely sure where this should go, but creativity sounded about right...

I'm looking for some nice video game cross-stitch patterns, specifically things like the Legend of Zelda, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Parasite Eve, etc. I've had very little luck with my search, save for a few small patterns. If anyone knows of any patterns, I'd really appreciate a post here, or a PM about it.

Edit: Ok, I get the feeling that this post is not going to be seen by many people (V_V), considering this is a lump of 'offline games' stuff... I would have thought this would be better in the creativity section (you know, cross-stitch and all), but what do I know?
I am now also looking for images of various characters and clothing designs. The characters need to be on a white background so the edges are easily distinguishable... Again, I'm mainly looking for Resident Evil and Parasite Eve images. Thanks to anyone who helps me out. ^_^

Has anyone every heard of an emulator well if you want to know read this description

Project64 is a Nintendo 64 emulator which at first seemed to have popped up out of nowhere. I had some trouble trying it myself as my PC doesn't meet the steep system requirements of Project64. Yet from what I have seen, if you have the right PC, Project64 will probably work better for you than any other Nintendo 64 emulator.

The system requirements of Project64 are high. Don't expect games to run well or at all if your PC doesn't meet these requirements:

* Pentium III 600 Mhz or better
* 128 Mb. RAM or more
* Fast video card with 16 Mb. Video RAM or more
* Windows 95/98/Me
* DirectX 6.0 (latest version of DirectX recommended)

Project64 works best with these video cards:

* TNT, TNT 2, GeForce, GeForce 2, ATI Radeon

Project64 does not work well with these video cards:

* Matrox G200 and G400 (blending errors)
* ATI Rage Pro (misses some 3D functionality)
* 3DFX Voodoo Banshee (has bad DirectX drivers)
* 3DFX Voodoo 1 or 2 (secondary 3D cards are not supported)

so now if you want this project64 theres only steps to doing it follow my instructions bellow.

1.first off go to this link http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/n64/project64.html

2.and then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and you will see a bar with some stars on it and the project64 downloads well now click on the download and wait after a couple of minutes and when a box pops up click open and it will say Extract all click yes double click on the folder when it opens up and you will start to Extract the project64 out of its folder

3.so now another folder will open and it will be carrying the project64 ok now minimize the folder and make another folder named project 64; go back into the folder that has the Emulator in it and you will notice some more programs in the same folder click and go over all of them and click copy and put them all into the new folder you just made make a another file in your new file named programs for project64, put all of the extra junk into that file and now double click on your project64, and it will ask for some roms well guess what its your lucky day because i am going to give you a fast rom site.

FOR THE ROM'S
1.first off go to this site http://www.3roms.com/

2.so now your in the rom site there is a little bar to the left with some different options click on the thing named rom

3.but first i will warn you i am not affiliated with these what so ever and if you try and sell these the site can deny you of letting you download the roms for free

4.ok so you click on the rom now scroll down and click "Click Here To Continue To The Roms" and you will be brought to a thing that has different rom's for you choose from for different consoles click on nintendo64 roms

5.so now you will be brought to the rom directory so look up(for example) "super Mario 64" ones you got to were you are supposed to go click on the little thing called download this rom click on it and it will pop up like 4 pop ups but don't get rid of the small orange one your supposed to have that one click on the download rom and you will start to download it

6.ones its done click open and minimize it *DON'T CLOSE IT* and then go back into your project 64 folder and make another folder inside of it called rom games, open up your rom and cut and past it in your new folder you just made.

7.so now you have a rom simple as that but are you still stumped about how to play the rom

HOW TO OPEN THE ROM

1.ok so open up your project64 and you will be shown a white screen go to file and scroll down to open rom

2.click that and you will be automatically brought to your rom folder double click on your rom and you will start to play it

3.if you cant see it really good its probably because you have to change the plug ins

WHATS UP WITH THE GRAPHICS

1.go to settings

2.click on graphic plug ins

3.click on the first bar you see and put the resolution to a lower state and there you should be fine after a while if not i will give you big spoiler helping you

-Plugins Issues:

-Video Plugins:
If you told Project 64 where your ROMs are then you will see them in the main window and you will see "Good name, Status, Notes(Core), Notes(Default Plugin)" These tell you if there is something wrong with your game like if its supported or not, if you need another plugin or not. If there is nothing wrong here then do NOT change your plugins!
If something is wrong now you may begin to worry

If you see "Needs video plugin" next to the game you want to play you need to change the video plugin. Use a plugin which you know supports the game.
If you know that another plugin supports your hardware better then the default one then go ahaed ang change it.
Click Options>Settings to do so.

-Audio Plugins:
You may use the default plugin BUT
-if you do not have a sound card
-if your sound card is not supported
-if you dont want sound (who would want that!)
-if you need more and more speed(now you are talkin!)
then you may use the dummy plugin. Click Options>Settings to do so.

-Controller(Input) Plugins:
You may use the default plugin again BUT
-if you want mouse support
-if you want rapid fire etc. then use another one.
if the default plugin is not working then try another one.
Scroll down to see recomended input plugins.
Click Options>Settings to do so.

Daedalus Graphics
DaedalusD3D
Glide64
glNintendo64
Jabo's Direct3D

Audio Plugins:
Azimer's Audio

Controller Plugins:
Jabo's DirectInput

Now where to get these plug ins? all of them with more are here! http://www.smiff.clara.net/

Once again: change these plug ins if you have to and use the one which you know supports the game you want to play.
And also change 1 plug in at a time so you may see what are the effects. If you change more then 1 plug in at a time you will not know what plug in does what.

In the folder where you installed Project 64 there are several Help Files, you may find some solutions there. Try them, especially for individual game settings.

HOW DO I ADD MORE CHEATS

1.turn your emulator on and start the game you want to have the cheats in

2.go to options and click on the options again and you will see 3 check boxes

3.click on advanced settings and then go to system and go down the cheats

4.right click and click "add cheat"

5.look for sites online that have a lot of hacks i will give you some to start off with

snowy treasure hunter 3 level help

Well, I hope there is someone out there that has or is playing snowy treasure hunter 3. I am stuck on level 34, I can't get the guard/enemy into the top two holes, so I can get the gems. No problem with the bottom four.
