good game ,a bit repeating clicking but well made and nice puzzle

Not easy....opened all drawers, except time drawer.
Used/found items and now have canes, stockings, gingerbread, ink....trying to figure out next step (wish I could read the messages)...

Put canes on gingerbread men on shelf.

Found next step, but when completing the 'answer'...I see clue, but nothing happening when I set the canes correctly...?.
Finally entered time correctly...now have envelope.

Finally solved gingerbread men /w canes....now have bell.

First lay down paper /w men on top of cabinet.

Place bell, now have key and now clue....

bird house.

Played piano, but not seeing next step...
Got it...replayed piano correctly as no longer able to play...now have next item.
New room...interesting...
See new clue, but I don't understand it and I may be stuck...
Mitts and boots gone....what is the final code...?
I need help; cannot get last code and not comprehending "dear mary" clue...?
...tryed again...I give up...next game.
