First click the green button. Then Click the map on the book. And then you can choose 1 island where to "travel"

this game seems kinda pointless! is there an aim or not? i keep getting sent round in circles and all you have to do is look for symbols in the books to unlock the door on the lil hut on the right! What else is there? HELP!
